Super Bowl ad costs $100,000 a second

1. What are you thoughts on a company spending this type of money on an advertisement?
- I personally think that it is really ridiculous and no since to do that at all. But if you have the money to watch go down the drain than "GO FOR IT" !
2. If you were a business owner or CEO would you spend this type of money to advertise?
- Nope i would not, i think that i could find some other or atleast a cheaper way to advertise during the super bowl. you could make your logo or something pop up for one second and be 100,000 dollars(:
3. Do you think that the Super Bowl could bring a company that much more business than other times?
-yes because there are alot of people watching the super bowl. that is pretty much the biggest football game so yes i think it would bring them THAT much more business.
4. If you didn't advertise during the Super Bowl, what event would you focus most of campaign on?
-probably another one of the big games. I'm not sure which one but it has to be one cheaper !
5. Would this be a great place to spring board a campaign?
-yes, if you are willing to spend the money !

  1. You make a good point. I would not want to spend that much money on a commercial since the economy is bad.

  2. True we're in a recession so no one would spend their money on our products anyway

  3. I agree with you about finding a new cheaper way of advertising. Also, the big football games will bring in more publicity to your company.

  4. It is alot of money to spend on an ad, however i think that some comapanies can actually make it work so that they still get a profit. It wouldnt exactly just "go dowm the drain" if they can take full advantage of the spot they get.
