Managment(:

As many big companies are announcing mass layoffs, these 20 top employers have at least 350 openings each right now.
*Edward Jones
*Google
*Wegmans Food Markets
*Cisco Systems
*Genetech
*Methodist Hospital System
*Whole Foods Market
*Microsoft
*Burns&McDonnell
*Ernst&Young
*Booz Allen Hamilton
*KPMG
*PriceWaterHouseCoopers
*Scripps Health
*Mayo Clinic
*Baptist Health
*Bright Horizons
*Publix SupterMarket Stores
*T-Mobel
*Accenture

I think this is amazing because, right now the economy is so bad and there are not many jobs anywhere. If anything people are losing jobs becuase people dont have enough money to pay their empolyees. With these jobs haveing about 350 jobs each and there are 20 employers so that is about 7,000 jobs. I just think thats crazy, and amazing ! good luck to people getting jobs now(:

  1. You bring up a very hopeful article during a very troubled time for our economy formthe Management side of business. These businesses are taking risks in hiring as the economy steadily falls.

  2. I think that's interesting that alot of computer companies are hiring. There are many college students that could go into those fields because they have more knowledge and experience with technology.

  3. I think that if these companies are loosing money and they are putting people out of work, when someone goes looking for a job there won't be hardly anywhere to look for one, some people may loose their house because they don't have a job and they can't afford to pay for it.

  4. This is a very true point that I think alot of poeple are simply overlooking because it has nothing to do with them. Or so they think. The economy actually affects everyone, wether they choose to recognize it or not.

  5. You make good points about this because most people can't find jobs anywhere.
